The purpose of Youth Camp Dainava is to foster an environment for educational and recreational opportunities in the context of Catholic values, Lithuanian heritage, and the ideals of American democracy.
The campground is used by Lithuanian youth and adult organizations from Memorial Day through the middle of August and during Labor Day weekend each summer for a variety of different camps.
Outside of this time period, Camp Dainava is available for rent by other not-for-profit entities. As a not-for-profit, we welcome the rental of the campground by others to help defray our costs to support our religious, educational and cultural activities.
The campground has three separate buildings with sleeping accommodations: Dorm 1 (90 beds), Dorm 2 (83 beds) and the Main House (94 beds). The Main House includes a working kitchen and an all-purpose room. The Main House is the only building that is heated and available for use during the winter season. The property also includes a separate Kitchen/Dining Hall, which comfortably seats 200 people. The campground has basketball, volleyball and tennis courts and a 10-acre swimming lake with a beach and covered pavilion.
